Every architectural project is a journey full of unique challenges and joyful moments. Our current project in Frauenfeld – an outstanding multi-family home – reflects precisely this process. From the initial idea to the final implementation, we went through numerous design phases, during which we developed and refined various options to find the optimal solution. The design process is not just a matter of aesthetics but also a careful balance of functionality, budget requirements, material selection, and the specific needs of our clients. In this project, the focus was on creating a harmonious living space that offers both contemporary architecture and a high quality of life. What is particularly interesting is that the design presented here is one of several outstanding options that emerged during the planning process. Although this variant was ultimately not realized, it impressively demonstrates how diverse and equally valid the solutions developed throughout such a project can be. The result of all these considerations is a building that blends seamlessly into its surroundings while setting accents with modern details. The balance between design sophistication and practical requirements makes this multi-family home a true living space. This project illustrates how creative design, technical expertise, and close collaboration with the clients can lead to an architectural solution that is both visually and functionally convincing – and this in several nearly equivalent variants.
